Vultr.com最近几个月还是比较火的,在各个主机论坛和测评博客里都有这家。虽然宣传的有12处数据中心,但实际上并不是所有的数据中心都有货。比如今天就是 Frankfurt, DE 和 London, UK 没货。
这家有个好处就是,可以自定义ISO文件来安装系统(这里的潜台词是,又可以折腾 Windows 2003 了),安装过程全程通过 VNC 可以看到(坑爹的 CentOS 默认模板总是安装失败,让我足足折腾了 3 次,最后不得已换成自定义 ISO 才安装成功)。当然,其计费方式也基本上和 DigitalOcean 一致,按照小时计费,比较灵活。
这里以一款日本东京的最低套餐来简单测评一下(为什么选日本东京?因为离中国物理距离近,至少白天速度还是很快的)。

评论:这个配置的性价比不错,至少要比 DigitalOcean 的同等价位配置要高。而且DigitalOcean 默认是没有 Swap,还要手动来创建。Linode 是最低 2G 内存,$20/月起步,折算一下,还是 Vultr.com 性价比高。

写在最后:
Vultr.com 是 DigitalOcean 的有力竞争者,随着云技术以及硬件的发展,以后的 VPS 性价比只会越来越高。从测试数据来看,Vultr.com无论是从跑分,还是实际编译 LAMP 环境(全程只花了 21 分钟),性能都是优秀的。
这次选择的日本东京数据中心,无论是连接国内还是国外,速度也都是不错的。实际测试下来,服务器确实是G口。100G/月的流量,对于流量大户来说确实有点捉襟见肘。所以,还是略有遗憾。不过对于我来说,这流量是绰绰有余了。
对了,目前这家还在搞活动,客户第一次充值,是充多少送多少,上限为$100。
